When the little boy’s family decided to prank him with a not-so-exciting gift they never anticipated he would react like this. Thankfully they uploaded it to YouTube so the rest of us could enjoy it too.
After watching all the mothers open their presents on Mother’s Day this kid couldn’t contain his excitement at the possibility of opening one of his own. The prankster in the family decided to gift him a banana inside a pink-spotted (I’m assuming very recently emptied) bag.
We expected him to get mad, but this was his reaction," writes video uploader Vanessa Aparicio.
Instead of tossing aside what most of us would deem to be a rather sad gift, he was overwhelmed with gratitude. He lovingly snuggles up to the banana before tearing it open and taking a generous bite.
It reminds me of the time I hid Mr Fantastic wrapped inside a hairdryer box for my brother’s Christmas present. Let’s just say he wasn’t as crazy about hairdryers as this kid is about bananas.
