A woman has been taken to hospital after being bitten by a snake north of Brisbane on Thursday.
A woman was outside a house on Shayne Avenue in Deception Bay when she was bitten on her hand by a snake at 12.51pm.
Queensland Ambulance Service said it was a suspected brown snake.
The woman was transported in a stable condition to Redcliffe Hospital.
