A man has been taken to hospital after being bitten by a snake north of Brisbane on Thursday. A woman was outside a house on Shayne Avenue in Deception Bay when she was bitten on her hand by a snake at 12.51pm. Queensland Ambulance Service said it was a suspected brown snake.
The man was transported in a stable condition to Redcliffe Hospital. developed necrosis after he was bitten by a venomous snake. Despite having been given "natural" remedies to cure the wound, he received proper help too late to save his leg... and her life. The muscle disappeared and the leg shriveled and turned black. The poison had done its damage and the boy was unable to heal.
